In other news, the 20BooksTo50K Facebook group has organized a huge Urban Fantasy Anthology. When they announced they were open to submissions, I jumped at the chance to submit a 500-word sample.
To my amazement, the sample was accepted. The editors wanted to see more. I had to buckle down and write my heart out. The story went in an unexpected direction (just like Luna) and took more plotting than estimated. Luckily, my wonky time zone worked in my favor and I barely made the submission deadline.
To my great delight, the full story was accepted. More proof that the Lunatic horde is growing. I'm honored to be included with the other great authors in this compilation. It's going to be a great read.
